As Patron of Capa First Response, I am pleased to advertise this job vacancy, which has just been announced.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced worker in the field of child to parent abuse to join our growing organisation at a time where strategy, policy development and awareness of child to parent abuse is growing.  

Senior Practitioner  

Working Hours 15 hrs per week  
Annual Wage £34,944 pro rata 
Special Conditions We are looking for someone able to offer Wednesdays + flexible hours to be agreed. 
Based At Home working  
Closing Date 28th February 2023 
Interview Date Interviews will take place online, on the 14th of March 2023 

Role overview: We are recruiting to a senior practitioner level post due to the experience required to undertake the work; and the expectation that, as organisation capacity grows, the postholder will take on additional supervisory duties. This is a new role and you will be involved in the development of Capa and work closely with the management team and advisory board. 

As well as holding your own caseload you will be supporting our advice and support sessions, attend external virtual meetings and input into national research and forums..  

We are looking for someone who has experience working with families impacted by child to parent abuse, who is confident to offer advice and understands why families experience this issue. As this is a new role with development potential and supervisory duties we are also seeking someone who has confidence in both managing staff and developing services.
